About Me (she, her)

I am a qualified Integrative Yoga Psychotherapist, Clinical Mind & Body Therapist, Nervous System Regulation Specialist and Certified IEMT Practitioner, offering a holistic, collaborative and creative approach to therapy. In my clinical role, I am part of the Therapy Team at Priory Ticehurst Hospital, and have gained extensive experience working in NHS acute care units across Sussex. Alongside my private practice, I also work for The Old Bank Wellbeing Trust, a wonderful mental health charity in Eastbourne providing low-cost counselling and therapy to the local community.

My practice is LGBTQ+ inclusive, neurodivergent affirming and I am competent to work with Gender, Sexual and Relationship Diversity (GSRD). I work both online and face-to-face in a tranquil therapy room in Battle, and also see clients in Eastbourne.

I work with adults of any age, gender and identity presenting with significant trauma, addictions, shame and guilt, panic, anxiety, depression, complex emotional challenges, relational and identity crises, or deeply stuck patterns of behaviour. I also work with clients presenting with problematic porn use and sex addiction, and with the partners who are affected. I am currently undergoing training in the treatment of Compulsive Sexual Behaviours and Sex Addiction, which adds further competency to my toolbox as a therapist experienced in the field of addiction, trauma and attachment.

My training is in Integrative Yoga Psychotherapy (IYP), a pioneering psychotherapy model (NCIP Level 7) that integrates talking therapy with mindfulness, embodied somatic practices, functional breathing therapy, and Buddhist wisdom. My practice is IYP at its core, and informed by Humanistic psychotherapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family System (IFS), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Gestalt, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Somatic Trauma Psychotherapy, Existential Psychotherapy, and Spiritual Counselling.

I am a Fellow of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP) and part of their Ethics, Safeguarding and Professional Standards Committee. I am also a registered student member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity (ATSAC), registered student member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), and full registered member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I am bound by all their Code of Ethics and Professional Standards.

I am also a Martial Artist, 1st degree Black Belt in Wado Ryu Karate, also assistant instructor and Safeguarding Lead. Karate is a physical and spiritual practice I honour very deeply, and an art that guides my approach and commitment to both my personal and professional development.
